I am Director of Strategic Initiatives at CENTR, an umbrella organization for European country-code top level domain (ccTLD) registries, in Brussels. I am also chairperson at Dataskydd.net Sverige, a Swedish NGO that is oriented towards the continuous improvement of privacy and data protection in law and technology. In 2020-2021, I am a technical privacy advisor to the Rethinking Data project at Ada Lovelace Institute in London. Since 2019 I am a digital rights advisor in the Acceptable Ads Committee too. Previously, I worked for ARTICLE19:s digital program with human rights in technical standards in IEEE 802, in the IETF, and in the 3GPP, and for ANEC with consumer rights in the internet of things in ISO PC 317. I was a Member of the European Parliament in the 7th legislature on behalf of European Pirates (see also archives [in Swedish and English]) and a member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) of the Internet Governance Forum between 2013-2016. In Autumn 2016 I spent three months as a visiting researcher at Centre for Internet and Society in Bangalore, India. Between 2016 and 2020 I was a member of the editorial council for Liberal debatt, a Swedish liberal ideas journal. You can find other stuff here. I studied mathematics and mathematical statistics at Lund and Uppsala university, and business law at Lund university. I really enjoy learning languages and reading books, or listening to electronic music. Since 2020, I have (finally) installed Wayland and Sway on Arch Linux. You find some of the configuration files here.
