This week Amelia is in Strasbourg for the plenary sessions. As you can see below, a very important part of her working schedule will be dedicated to data protection and meeting groups of interest from different backgrounds to be able to grasp opinions from all the sides. After Strasbourg, she will go to Sweden, to be there the whole next week for several meetings, events and also being in contact with her constituency.

This is the last week of the parliamentary year. Amelia will go back to Sweden on Wednesday, but before that she has to arrange many before the end of the year, so her schedule for Monday and Tuesday is even more busy  than normally:

This week is a very busy one, but we have been looking forward to it a lot as well. On Wednesday Amelia will have a bloggers day, she will host a breakfast meeting about opportunities and challenges for bloggers around the world and how to pass their message to politicians. Later on, she will also take part in the Bloggers for Democracy event, organised by her and other green MEP's. Also, she will go to Berlin on Friday for the European Young Leaders Meeting. This week will be full of committee meetings, so Amelia and the whole office will have to work extensively on them. However, this does not mean that they will be the only duties that Amelia will have during this week. You can see her schedule here:

Amelia is back from Azerbaijan but this does not mean that she will stay in Brussels during the whole week. She will go to Cambridge on Thursday to speak about intellectual property rights in this famous university. During this week, she is also hosting an event organized by her office about movies under Creative Commons licenses. As for her schedule, here you can find her most relevant meetings:

This week, Amelia is going to Baku, in Azerbaijan, for the Internet Governance Forum (IGF).The internet Governance Forum was created in 2005, during the World Summit on Information Society in Tunis, and its main purpose is "to discuss a wide range of issues related to Internet Governance, and, where appropriate, to make recommendations to the international community.

During this whole week Amelia will be in Moscow taking part in the International Trade Committee Delegation to Russia. Here you can find her schedule:

The highlinght of this week is the event organised by Amelia in cooperation with MEP Ivailo Kalfin (S&D) on opening up public information for transparency, knowledge and growth. The re-use of Public Sector Information have started giving promising results in improving the accountability of public bodies towards its citizens and in creating new and innovative businesses within the EU. Still, today's challenges need to be addressed to reach optimal re-use of public sector information and that is the main topic in this event.
